Four decades post 2025 Ecological and Financial Collapse:

The morality of letting a child; EVAN to be born into a life of fear and death becomes an early theme. The resultant imprinting of Evan’s character a question mark in his first days.

The young Evan lost both his parents to ‘outsider marauders’.

Grandfather; Elder Conrad Fenton, now guardian to Evan, hadn’t shielded him from the terror that pervades every aspect of their existence. Just because he was young doesn’t mean he hadn’t grown up quick. It’s all he do to stay sane and move along with all the pains of his past and knowledge of what’s yet destined to endure.
