Bruce Beresford, one of Australia’s finest directors will join the judging panel for Nsw’s 48 Hour Film Project. Tom Papas, Producer/CEO of 48 Hour Festival Inc said “legendary Filmmaker Bruce Beresford will be this year’s guest judge, so you better make it good, you never know where it could take you! More fantastic judges to be announced very soon.” Over two full days and nights, from 23-25 September kicking off at Parramatta’s Riverside Theatres, filmmakers will write, shoot, edit and score a film for entry – each team given a genre, character, prop and line of dialogue to include in their work. The winner will receive $8000 and be flown to Taos, New Mexico to compete on an international level at the 48Hfp Filmapalooza. Filmmakers from the Filmapalooza competition ranked in the top 10 will have their work screened at the Cannes Film Festival on May 16 and 17, 2012. for further Information www.48hourproject.com.au
